Community Events

A major component of bringing our residents together to build lasting friendships are our community events.

Open days, family fun days, community days and more feature regularly within our residential estates creating not only a great excuse to enjoy our well planned open space areas, Villawood events also provide the ideal opportunity to meet your fellow residents.

Providing fun activities for children and adults alike, many of our residents testify to the value of getting out of the home and meeting new friends and other families.

Marriott Waters community teams up for National Tree Day

National_Tree_DayVillawood Properties master-planned development ‘Marriott Waters’ has received a green thumbs-up from the local community, following the estate’s involvement with Planet Ark’s National Tree Day on Sunday 2 August.

Residents of the estate and members of the local community gathered at Marriott Waters and, with the aid of a City of Casey council representatives joined forces to get their hands dirty planting 350 trees towards an environmentally friendly future.

The volunteers effectively transformed one of Marriott Waters open reserves into what will become a lush, green haven for the ample wildlife already calling the estate’s wetlands home.

The hard-working volunteers were treated to a free barbeque provided by the CFA following the tree planting exercise, as well as a visit from ‘Waddles the Platypus’, the Villawood mascot who was busy helping kids plant throughout the day.
