A variety of construction activity is currently progressing across the Marriott Waters community.

Shearwater Release (stage 13)

The contractors have been able to make considerable construction progress during August and September however prior to that time construction progress was seriously affected by wet weather to the point that the construction site was saturated and inaccessible to safely operate heavy machinery.

 

On the basis of the above it is now anticipated that completion of the civil works will occur in December 2011 with title registration and settlements to follow early in the new year, March/April 2012.

 

Neighbourhood Activity Centre (NAC)

Villawood Properties is pleased to advise that initial bulk earthworks are now well underway on Marriott Waters’ future Neighbourhood Activity Centre site.

As previously advised the Residents’ Club will be constructed as part of the Neighbourhood Activity Centre, Villawood has recently appointed a builder to construct both the club and shopping centre.

In conjunction with the shopping centre works, construction is expected to commence on the intersection of Thompsons Road and Missens Road. Due to wet weather the construction of external roads has been delayed and will now commence during spring 2011.

The Marriott Waters Neighbourhood Activity Centre is anticipated for completion in late 2012

 

 

 

Lyndhurst Local Park

 

Construction works are now well progressed with an anticipated completion date scheduled for June. With playground equipment and sheltered area now in place, Lyndhurst Local Park will features a picnic shelter, barbeque, children’s playground and seating areas all complemented by large areas of passive open space.

 

General

Street landscaping works and now complete for stages 7, 8, 9 and 10 throughout Marriott Waters.

Construction works has now commenced on the parkland along Gregson Grove within stage eight, while works are due to commence next month on the new park in Windmill Circuit as part of stage 9.
