Coralie and Shane Thomson were after another one of the eager couple’s who camped out overnight for their dream homesite.

“We were after one of the two 700sqm allotments that was in this release. When we heard that buyers had started the line for waterfront lots, we knew we would have to get down early.

“We arrived on the Wednesday evening at about 6.30pm, it was lucky we did as someone arrived at Thursday lunchtime wanting to purchase both of the 700sqm allotments.

“We currently live in Sky, but there is no land available to buy there.   When we started looking into Lyndhurst, we researched a few of the other estates, but didn’t feel they had as much as Marriott Waters does.

“Just the overall presentation of the estate sat well with us. Having an onsite school was also a huge advantage, we have two young children, so it will be great to send them to a school just down the road.

“I think the wetlands will be a beautiful feature and with the design of the resident’s club you can tell already that there will be a really strong community living there, making it the ideal place to raise a family.

“The recycled water is another thing that caught our eye, we like the idea of having a green garden all year round.

“My husband was pretty uncomfortable sleeping in the car and I was pretty bored throughout the days of the campout, but it had to be done and we are now so pleased that we have exactly what we want,” Mrs Thomson said.
