Ema and Luke Rus - Lot 297

ema_luke_rusThird in line was Ema Rus, arriving at 4:45pm Friday afternoon, her husband Luke, joined her a little later on as they set up their position in the camp out queue.

Mrs Rus said she and her husband have been looking for the perfect home site for the last six months with no avail.

“We drove past (Marriott Waters) about three weeks ago and saw the huge signs on site.  When we got home we researched about the site.  It was then that we knew that this is where we want to live.

“We fell in love with the overall design of the project; the wetlands, the walking and cycling tracks, the primary school – it has everything that we could possibly want.

“It wasn’t too cold camping out – I think that we were just so excited, we didn’t pay much attention to the weather.

“We purchased an allotment with close proximity to the wetlands.  I like the idea of living close to that element of the project and with the spaced out streetscape design, I am pleased about living in a tree lined street, rather than having our new house right on top of our neighbours.

“We were thrilled when we found out we will be linked to recycled water and being in such great proximity to Merinda Park station, my husband will be able to commute to the CBD for work with ease.
